CUPS hiring Program Assistant, 5-10 hours/week

The CUPS Program Assistant is a position for the current academic year at 5-10 hours/week. The CUPS Office coordinates academic community engagement at UVM, including the high-impact educational practice of service-learning. Service-learning has a distinguished history UVM. We are seeking a detail-oriented undergraduate student, who will provide general support to CUPS staff. This may include: event planning, database work, written reporting, and creating communications materials for print and web. Additionally, the Program Assistant will work on service-learning course designation and regularly communicate with faculty and community partners in service-learning projects.

The ideal candidate should be interested in community engagement and how it works at UVM; be detail-oriented, responsible, and able to track projects over time; be comfortable with typical office software (MS Office, PDF software, etc.) and familiar with databases. Experience working with Filemaker Pro, HTML, and or web content is a plus, but not required. We are happy to train a candidate who is otherwise a good fit for the position. Compensation dependent on experience.
