Event: FeelGood hunger discussion, April 10th

Act Local, Think Global:
Dinner and panel discussion on the reality of hunger

Hunger is something that affects everyone around the world. Come chat with expert food and hunger activists Sara Wilson, Corin Blanchard, Teresa Mares, and Hunger Free Vermont on Wednesday April 10, 2013. These inspirational leaders specialize in various grassroots approaches and long term thinking that surround the issues of hunger. UVM students have joined this fight, and you can too!

Participate in discussions with activists and organizations that have committed to similar missions and goals as FeelGood. This event will provide a great opportunity to understand global and local hunger. These presentations will reveal the complexities surrounding hunger, ranging from gender inequality to grassroots mobilization.

You will leave this presentation with a holistic understanding of the root causes and solutions to hunger, as well as feel good about your role in getting involved.

FeelGood will provide a delicious, healthy and local meal with the purchase of your ticket.
