We are pleased to now present online the current waitlist for new child psychiatry evaluations at the Vermont Center for Children, Youth, and Families.  The information will now be posted on the opening page of the blog. The length will be regularly updated and reflects first available appointment by any clinician in our clinic taking on new patients (residents, fellows, child psychiatrists, nurse practitioners).  The number does not reflect new patient evaluations for psychologists or interns.

Further, the number represents the approximate length of time until an appointment AFTER all of the needed instruments and forms are returned by families.

This new information is being given because we realize that our waitlist can vary quite a bit based on a number of factors.  It can be very difficult to know what the current waitlist of a clinic can be, and it was becoming clear to us that some clinicians out in the community were operating with very outdated information.

We hope that this information will be useful for the community.  Please look for updates in the future.
