Entering festivals is one way to get attention. Attending festivals is a great way to learn about the business of film, especially at workshops and panel discussions. Below is a list of student film festivals:
- Made exclusively or majority by a currently enrolled, undergraduate or graduate student at any New England School (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut).
- Any genre or subject matter
- 30 minutes or less
- Completed within the last year (January 2012 – present)
- Must not contain ANY copyrighted material that you do not own the rights to (i.e., music, movies television, images etc)
