While there are a handful of options, we strongly recommend using Mozilla Thunderbird for reading and sending email. It is full-featured, flexible, and stable. In other words, it plays nice with the UVM way of handling email.
Thunderbird is probably already installed on your work computer. If not, you can download and install it from the UVM Software Archive. You can also install it on your home computer if you want.
Once Thunderbird is installed, just follow these simple instructions including the two “Additional Settings” at the bottom of the page and you’ll be good to go. Happy emailing!
