I will be co-sponsoring, in collaboration with Dean Patricia Prelock, a breakfast roundtable discussion as part of the Blackboard Jungle. The facilitator will be Dr. Tommie L. Robinson, Jr., the luncheon keynote speaker for the BBJ. His talk is titled, “Leading a Culture of Service Excellence to Students from Diverse Backgrounds.” Dr. Robinson is the current President of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) in Washington, DC; is the Director for the Scottish Rite Center for Childhood Language Disorders in the Children’s Hearing and Speech Center at Children Hospital in Washington, D.C.; and is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
The breakfast roundtable is scheduled for Friday, March 25 from 8:00 – 9:30am at the Dudley H. Davis Center. Please RSVP your interest in attending as my guest to Kelly.Circe@uvm.edu by March 1.
