Where have the days gone! We are through midterms… and now there are less than 6 weeks left in the semester! Ask my parents and they will happily tell you: their son has never worked harder in his(my) life!
I’m taking 18 credits this semester, which is basically the maximum that a student here can take. At 3 credits a piece, that means I am taking 6 courses, all of which seem to require a bunch of work! Fortunately, I like my major. I’ve been enjoying most of my classes this semester, which is always a treat… not a trick
(Get it, cus Halloween was last weekend).
In-particular, my marketing class has really been keeping me in-tune this semester. We’ve had guest speakers nearly every week, who come in and share their real-life experiences with running businesses and achieving great success out in the real world! When we dont have guest speakers, my professor has been synthesizing all of the information and making sure that we leave there ready to work on our GIANT final project of a real marketing plan for a business of our choosing… WHOA!
Other than class, I’ve just been keeping busy with my Class Council meetings, giving tours and occasionally sitting down to a nice dinner with my roommates! We all got dressed up on Sunday and handed candy out to our neighborhood kids – which was really fun! I realized, this is the first time I’ve handed out candy when not at my parents’ home! Someday, It’ll be my big-kid house that I live in and do the same thing! Growing up… such a strange concept.
Anyways, I hope everyone had a great Halloween weekend, and that you are ALL getting ready for SNOW! If you need me, I’ll be the kid outside doing the snow dance…
