She was sitting in an oak tree by the Davis center observing the small cluster of people gathered there "oohing and ahhing" over her. Eventually, she went back to sleep. Katie Blis took this beautiful photo!

Watching the Moon Set as the Sun Rises
October's full moon was yesterday, the 25th, so this morning at 7:15 or so, we were treated to a nicely arranged sun rise moon set. In reality, of course, the setting moon was gigantic :).
A month from now
we will have had our snow,
winter will be here.

If 2 outta 3 are smoke free, then why all the smoking related litter? This was constructed outside Bailey/Howe Spring '05 to encourage smokers use of ashtrays....

Blogging the (UVM) Blogosphere
One of our original plans for this space was to use it a place to show off the ever growing UVM blogosphere.
So the other day, I was adding a few links to the list. As I was doing this, I was at the same time clicking around the blogs that I was adding. You know, seeing what's new. The deeper I dug, the more it struck me how our Blogosphere has been growing on it's own.
